In addition to our normal Sunday School and Worship opportunities for adults, Sandy Level Baptist Church has the following opportunities available:
Discipleship Classes
Come grow in your walk with Christ through small groups, specialized bible study classes and prayer times. Classes range from short terms of only a few weeks to longer studies spanning several months. The times also vary but most meet on Wednesday or Sunday evenings. The subjects of the studies also varies in order to provide Christians at any stage of their walk with Christ to learn and develop their lives to be more like Christ.
Primetimers (Sr. Adults)
SLBC’s “young at heart” meet on the last Monday of each month at 11:00 am. Please come join other Primetimers as we fellowship, go on outings and just have a good time.
Small Group Studies
A variety of small group studies are held at the church and sometimes at homes in the area. The studies are normally held on Sunday evenings while children’s programs are held at the church. Topics vary by study group as each group does independent studies including Bible book studies, topical studies, or Christian life application type studies. Come join a small group and get plugged in to Sandy Level Baptist Church.
Men's Ministry
Our Men's Ministry offers opportunities for men to worship and study together, focusing on becoming more capable and effective leaders in our church and in our homes. Our men are actively involved in Bible Study, and support the missions organization for school-aged boys. Meetings are held the first Sunday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Come enjoy breakfast!
Woman's Missionary Union
The WMU is an organization of women in our church which supports North American and International missions through prayer, instruction, giving, and service. These groups also provide much needed support for women as they fulfill their many roles and strive for balance in their lives.
